This platform is for people who are renting a home privately under an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) or Rent-To-Buy (RTB), directly from us.

 

MINIMUM MONTHLY RENT

The current monthly minimum rent with us on this platform is £845.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFYING WAGE

The current minimum wage that qualifies you to rent with us is £1,700 per month (or £425 per week).

The current National Living Wage (NLW) is £10.42/hr (expected to go to £11.44/hr from 1st April 2024).

 

PROOF OF EMPLOYMENT AND/OR REGULAR INCOME

Mandatory as part of our Tenant Referencing requirement.

 

TENANT REFERENCING

Tenant referencing is the process of making checks on a prospective tenant to find out if they will be able to pay the rent and whether they are likely to look after the property. Tenant referencing is one of the most important steps we take to protect ourselves against troublesome tenants and maximise the chances of having a successful tenancy.

It involves methodically gathering relevant information to build up a financial and personal profile of the prospective tenant and identify any risks.

 

RIGHT TO RENT

Illegal Immigrants are automatically disqualified from renting with us, by virtue of the Right-to-Rent law.
